“In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see the difference, and in 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body" -Joseph Pilates
How to Reset Your Routine
Many of us have heard the phrase, ‘Life is a journey, not a destination.’ The same can be applied to your health and wellness journey. Getting back into a workout routine often seems daunting and unachievable. Although it is possible with a proper roadmap. Let Club Pilates Poway get you started!
Re-Start Slow
Have you ever asked yourself, “How did I become so inactive?” You’re not alone. Start slowly and give yourself ample time to progress. We offer an introductory class to help lay down the foundation of Pilates and gradually progress from beginner to intermediate and advanced classes.
Plan
One of the most important steps before you dive back in to a fitness routine is to plan out what you want your routine to look like- Do you prefer to work out in the morning or evening? What day works best for you? How can you avoid changing plans? We suggest booking your classes a week in advance. We make planning super easy via the Club Pilates app.
Set Goals
At Club Pilates, we make a huge effort to celebrate our member’s milestones. Our business model encompasses making member’s goals challenging, yet easily attainable. Please share your goals with us, and we can help customize a plan to get you there.
Workout Partner
Grab a friend or make a new one in class! When both of you plan a class together, you’d hate to let them down right? Fill them in on your workout plans or let them know if you need an extra nudge. We’ve seen a lot of success when friends join together.
Don’t wait till January to see if Pilates is best for you. We encourage those who want to reset their fitness journey to take an introductory class, which we have many throughout the week.
Remember- it only starts with showing up. Before you know it, you’ll feel and see the difference!
